Presentation

Merchant aggregation is an arrangement where a payment provider is the merchant of record for multiple merchants, "pooling" their transactions and thereby enabling the merchants to accept payments without setting up local accounts. A panel discussion on merchant aggregation at MRC Dublin compared and contrasted merchant aggregation with other processing models, then looked at which markets are covered by aggregation. The panel then shared snapshots of nine of these markets, focusing on key insights and payment challenges and opportunities.
