Visa Merchant Purchase Inquiry, or VMPI, is a program from Visa which provides merchants with a mechanism to respond to inquiries from cardholders regarding unrecognized transactions and other dispute categories before a chargeback/dispute is submitted. By merchants providing relevant, supplemental details in near real-time, merchants can deflect a substantial share of their chargebacks.

In this webinar, FraudPVP provides an overview of VMPI, associated terminology, and common misconceptions. Next, North American and international coverage are discussed, followed by a brief look at integration and setup. Case study results are then presented, with a detailed Q&A session concluding the broadcast.
